
Beautiful Large Polished Charoite Slab Specimen 6.5x5" Nearly 2Lbs
Charoite is a is a rare potassium, barium, calcium strontium, sodium, hydrogen-rich silicate mineral. Its color ranges from a deep purple to a lilac pink and is commonly found with inclusions of Quartz (white) and Manganese (black). It is found exclusively within the Chara River area of the Murun Massif in Russia. It forms from limestone through contact metamorphism.
Collector notes
This particular slab has been polished on one side to exhibit its exquisite color and inclusions. The other side is flat an "raw" to show it's natural colors.
